AVI-CU02. COLONIAL SUCHITOTO
We will go to the beautiful city of Suchitoto “Place of birds and flowers” its Nahuat name. This city was important in the development of the industry of the indigo offers important colonial architecture. The Santa Lucia Church, constructed in 1853, is one of the main attractions of Suchitoto.

HOUSE MUSEUM OF DON ALEJANDRO COTTO: This is one of the better known landmarks of the City, constructed by the famous and recognized artist, film director, and Salvadoran writer.

Don Alejandro Cotto received the government’s highest honor, the ‘’Hijo Meritísimo,’’ by the Legislative Assembly. We will also enjoy the variety of nature including Suchitlán Lake, to see the flora and fauna of the place. This impressive artificial lake has an extension of 84 square miles, which makes it the lake of greatest surface in El Salvador.

When finishing our route, we will have lunch at a local restaurant with nice views. We will return to the lodging place.

AVI-CU02. SUCHITOTO COLONIAL
Nos conduciremos hasta llegar a la hermosa ciudad de Suchitoto "Lugar de pájaros y flores" su nombre en lengua Nahuat. Esta ciudad le ofrece su arquitectura colonial, ciudad que fue importante en el desarrollo de la industria del añil o índigo. La Iglesia Santa Lucía, construida en 1853, es uno de los principales atractivos de Suchitoto por su original estructura de la época colonial. CASA MUSEO DE DON ALEJANDRO COTTO. Es uno de los hitos más conocidos de la Ciudad, construida por el famoso y reconocido artista, cineasta, y escritor salvadoreño. Don Alejandro Cotto fue nombrado Hijo Meritísimo de El Salvador por la Asamblea Legislativa. Disfrutaremos de la variedad de naturaleza incluyendo el Lago Suchitlán, para ver la flora y fauna de lugar. Este impresionante lago artificial tiene una extensión de su lámina de agua de 135 kilómetros cuadrados, lo que lo convierte en el lago de mayor superficie en El Salvador. Al terminar nuestro recorrido, disfrutaremos de un almuerzo en un agradable restaurante con vista panorámica. Regreso al lugar de alojamiento.
