AVI-CI01. City Tour with options.
Leaving the hotel we will roam around the new and modern commercial centers: Multiplaza, Las Cascadas and La Gran Via, and Residential Santa Elena. On our course, we will enjoy a panoramic Vista of the City of San Salvador. Once at the military museum “El Zapote,” we will discover the territory of El Salvador through a High Relief Map which shows the geographic features of the country.

Continuing to the historical Center, we will stroll through the Metropolitan Cathedral; to the basement, where the rests of Monsignor Romero are buried. Leaving the Cathedral we visit the Gerardo Barrios Plaza; being a good place to appreciate the facade of the Cathedral and the National Palace.

Leaving the historical center, we will visit the Plaza of “Las Américas” where the Monument of “El Salvador del Mundo” (The Saviour of the World) stands, being the most representative monument of the country.

We will finish the route in the Art Gallery and Crafts Store of “El Arbol de Dios” (God's Tree), to see the work of the famous Salvadorean artist Fernando Llort.

Partiendo del lugar de alojamiento, haremos un recorrido por los nuevos y modernos centros comerciales: Multiplaza, Las Cascadas y La Gran Vía, y Residencial Santa Elena.

Continuaremos podremos disfrutar de una linda vista panorámica de la Ciudad de San Salvador. Conocerá el territorio de El Salvador en nuestra visita el Mapa en Alto Relieve, ubicado en el Cuartel El Zapote, el cual muestra los accidentes geográficos del país. Nos conduciremos hacia el Centro histórico, visitando la Catedral, en cuyo sótano se encuentran sepultados los restos de Monseñor Romero. Después, la Plaza Gerardo Barrios será un buen lugar para apreciar la fachada de Catedral y del Palacio Nacional.

No podemos dejar de visitar la Plaza Las Américas donde se encuentra el Monumento al Salvador del Mundo, el monumento más representativo del país.

Terminaremos el recorrido en la Galería de Arte y Tienda de Artesanías El Árbol de Dios, para conocer la obra del famoso artista Salvadoreño Fernando Llort.
