An experience that beautifully blends nature and culture. We begin in the Volcano Complex, hiking through the cloud forest of Cerro Verde for approximately 50 minutes. From the top, take in stunning panoramic views of Coatepeque Lake and the imposing active volcanoes, Ilamatepec and Izalco.

The Coffee Route and El Carmen Estate

The journey continues along the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range, traversing coffee plantations located between 1,400 and 1,700 meters above sea level. We will visit the renowned El Carmen Coffee Estate, where you’ll learn about every stage of producing Gourmet Salvadoran Coffee, from the bean to the cup.
