If you’re looking for adrenaline and nature combined, rafting is the perfect choice. We depart at 6:30 a.m. to the river’s starting point and embark on an exciting whitewater adventure downstream.

Bird watching and lunch at La Ceiba

As we float along, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the dry tropical forest, home to birds such as herons and kingfishers. We stop at “La Ceiba” for a box lunch and a brief break, then continue the journey. The return to San Salvador is scheduled between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m.

Available difficulty levels

We offer routes tailored to the participants’ experience levels:

• Class II (Beginners): Gentle rapids and light waves. A safe route suitable for the whole family. (Ages 10+).
• Class III (Intermediate): Stronger currents, irregular waves, obstacles, and some drops. No previous experience is required, but a bit of physical effort is needed. (Ages 12+, adventurous families welcome).
